Our hands can choose to drop the knife
Our hearts can choose to stop the hating
For every moment of our life is the beginning...
~Stephen Schwartz, Children of Eden

AAPI Matter
Dallas Young Artists stands with our Asian American and Pacific Islander friends and patrons against the hate and the horrific acts waged against them. We believe we must do better to create a safe place for AAPI in our nation. At DYA, we pledge to educate, promote, and honor diversity with not just tolerance, but with respect and love.
Black Lives Matter
We stand together in our call for justice for Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, Botham Jean, George Floyd and all those citizens oppressed by white supremacy and racism. We continue to embrace equity, equality, diversity and inclusion in our camp and our programming. We will stand with our community to do more, learn more, and strive for healing and social justice.
